The Navy provides intelligence on the capabilities of foreign naval powers, provides global maritime intelligence integration supporting the global fight against terrorism while enabling maritime domain awareness for home defense.
The Air Force is relied upon to secure the borders and is crucial to success on terrorism through NORAD and is charged with providing aerospace warning and control for North America by using a network of ground-based radars and fighters to detect, intercept and if necessary, engage any probable threat to the continent.
The Marines are under the operational control of the navy and has constructed a plethora of intelligence organizations and operational programs relevant to the fight against terrorism.
