Prior to reading the book's introduction, what was your personal definition/perception of Hip Hop?  According to your readings, what is the history of Hip Hop's origin, and how did the socioeconomic state of the South Bronx influence the birth of Hip Hop Culture? How did the emergence of the Hip Hop Movement supplant violence significantly in the 1970s? What are the four core elements of Hip Hop? Were you aware that these core elements?

The criminal justice process from a legal perspective may be divided into three stages. In your own words, please summarize these 3 major stages – procedure before trial, during trial, and after trial. Provide examples please. "WHAT IS A COMPLAINT"?

If your research finds that Police Officers who live in the jurisdiction they serve consistently produce better and more results, what are the policy implications of this finding? If you work or assignment finds that jurisdictions which allow Police Officers to take home their patrol cars receive more cooperation or commitment from officers, what are the policy implications of this?
