Assessment 1 - Project Overview

Where:
Submit via the LEO dropbox in the "Assessment" tile on LEO.
Format and timing:
You are required to follow the assessment guidelines to complete your project. The total word count is equivalent to 2000 words (+/- 10%).
Extension/Special Consideration:
Please see the information in the ‘Assessment’ tile on LEO for guidance on how to apply for an extension/special consideration.
Academic misconduct:
Take special care to avoid plagiarism and collusion. We remind you that all students are bound by the ACU Academic Integrity and Misconduct Policy. Your submitted work MUST be prepared by yourself alone and expressed in your own words. Students whose submissions demonstrate a high degree of similarity to another source, student submission, or previous submission of their own will be investigated according to the ACU Academic Misconduct Procedures.

Researching your topic and creating a reference list:
- The information you include to support your discussion must be drawn from reputable sources. These may include peer-reviewed articles, textbooks, reputable websites (e.g., Government websites or WHO), and/or governing documents.
- Ensure you keep a record of any references that you have used.
- You must use appropriate in-text referencing for any direct quotes, information, or illustrations that are not your own, information from current journal articles, or information you sourced from a textbook.
APA style (7th edition) formatting must be used for all in-text and referenced citations. You can find resources to assist you with correct APA referencing via the ACU library and the Academic Skills Unit LEO site.
